Mr. Suttle graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1986. He received his B.A. in Economics with highest honors from the University of California at Davis in 1979. Mr. Suttle also served a judicial clerkship in 1987 with The Honorable Dorothy W. Nelson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Judicial Circuit.
Mr. Suttle is a shareholder with Parker, Milliken, Clark, O’Hara & Samuelian, and he has been with the firm since 1999. Mr. Suttle is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of California, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Judicial Circuit, and all United States District Courts in California.
Mr. Suttle has represented individuals and private organizations in a variety of complex litigation matters, including in the areas of unfair competition, intellectual property, contracts, redevelopment, insurance, employment, and shareholder disputes. Mr. Suttle has also represented both private and public entities in large scale construction delay and design deficiency litigation. He has extensive experience with discovery, motion practice (including motions for summary adjudication of issues,) hearings, bench trials, post trial motions, and appeals. Mr. Suttle has also worked extensively with both technical and accounting experts, and he has handled numerous mediations, formal arbitrations, and complex settlement negotiations. Mr. Suttle is also skilled in complex case management issues, including in the control and evaluation of large document databases and electronic information.
